Castledowns Dental has been serving the community since 1979. Dr. Vincent Cairo founded the clinic and was the principle dentist for over 30 years. He jokes when he started the practice the only other thing in the area was a horse field and stables (where are current location now sits). As the Edmonton area grew so did the practice. A transition from old to new occurred around 2010 as the location of the clinic was moved into a new building on 97th street and in 2012 Dr. Matthew Sloboda took over full time operations. Since that time the practice has continuously modernized and is now at the cutting edge of dental technology providing Cerec crowns, invisible braces and computer guided implant surgery. The clinic is focused on creating long term relationships with patients and is completely opposed to the “franchise-chain” clinic model currently in vogue in the industry where you may see a different dentist for every appointment.
