The Cerec system allows dental crowns to be placed in one appointment. There are no impressions required and the restorations are made from natural looking ceramic (no metal). Castledowns Dental was one of the first dental clinics in Western Canada to have a laboratory grade Cerec mill installed (MC-X5) which allows us to make bridges and implant crowns in addition to regular crowns. Both of these prostheses usually take 2-3 weeks to make but are ready in 1-2 days at our clinic.
